Electric Utilities, Cooperatives & Brownout Hotlines

Find the company that distributes electricity where you live, its brownout hotline and where it posts scheduled power interruptions.

Your distribution utility owns the poles, lines and substations in your area and is the company that restores your power. In Metro Manila and nearby provinces it is usually Meralco; in Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod and other cities a private utility; elsewhere one of more than 120 electric cooperatives supervised by NEA. The company name is printed on your electric bill.

Meralco hotline: 16211. For electric cooperatives, use the hotline or text line below, or message the co-op’s official Facebook page – that is also where most co-ops post scheduled power interruptions.
