Power Station & UPS Runtime Calculator

How long a portable power station, UPS, power bank or solar battery will run your electric fan, Wi-Fi router, lights and phones during a brownout.

Typical loads: electric fan 40–60 W, Wi-Fi router 10–15 W, LED bulb 9 W, phone 10 W, laptop 50 W, LED TV 60–80 W, ref 100–150 W average, nebulizer 150 W, 1 HP inverter aircon 600–900 W.

How it is calculated

Usable energy (Wh) = capacity × usable depth of discharge × inverter efficiency. Runtime = usable energy ÷ (load − solar input). Real runtime drops in the cold and with high-surge devices.

Results are estimates for planning, not bills or professional advice. For generator hookups use a changeover switch installed by a qualified electrician.
